Case history: A previously well 45-year-old lady presented with a 3-year history of hypertension initially diagnosed at a routine health check. Primary aldosteronism (PA) is considered the sole, often curable, cause of hypertension in 5–10% of patients. Yet there has been only one RCT, and practice has changed little since the advent of CT scanning.
